Aziza Paradise Hotel | Puerto Princesa, Palawan, PH | Accommodation Review

Overall Rating :♥♥♥♥◊

We’ve been picky on accommodations since we were traveling with minors so accommodation was the last thing wanderbud and I were able to book before our target travel dates. We basically relied on reviews and recommendations from our frequent traveler friends. Their comfort, convenience and security was our top priority and Aziza was nothing short of that. More details below. Overall, we had a great time at Aziza.

Location: ♥♥♥♥♥

Aziza is situated at the heart of Puerto Princesa (PPS) city and is well known by local transport drivers; tricycle, taxis and what have you’s. It is 10-15mins away from PPS International Airport and strategically located 1km from national highway for some tropical and tranquil vibe. Robinsons Mall is just a 5-min drive away to and from the hotel, too, should you wish to dine outside the hotel or buy some stuff.

Room: ♥♥♥♥◊

Two queen sized beds welcomed us where we stayed in a family room for 4. Its vast room area was enough for my kiddo to run around and do her cartwheels while a teen can have her own space, too. Bed and linens were white and clean.

We were definitely pleased with the bathroom. It was complete with basic toiletries and shampoos/ bath gels in tiny bottles replaced every day. Shower heater is available and working with cool shower head and a portable one, too.

If you feel like staying at the hotel or feel like going on an extended swimming, Aziza has an adult sized pool (about 5′) connecting to the kid’s. Lounge area is so accommodating that it has more than 3 sets of sofa with foosball and “sungka” tables should boredom hits you.

Breakfast: ♥♥♥◊◊

Buffet table was stuffed with your breakfast regulars varying from breads, eggs, viands and rice. There were also a variety of morning drinks to choose from such as coffee, tea and juices. Our picky eaters were able to grab something from the table like cereals and the likes.

Service: ♥♥♥♥♥

Staff service was efficiently great! Turnaround time for my demanding requests and queries were prompt and fulfilled the first time. Lobby receptionists and the staff in general were all courteous and accommodating. Special mention and kudos to Gaylyn who managed our transfer to the airport earlier than it was supposed to. Thanks, girl!
